Located in Païta since January 2003, Pacific Plastic et Profilés (abbreviated to 3P) designs and extrudes PVC profiles for the housing market and associated applications:

• Skirting : strip (10mm) with all secondary profiles for ceilings, weather boarding, cladding;
• Gates and fences: a complete range for creating any type of enclosure (7 profiles);
• Door frames : specially designed profile for inside door frames.

Conversion process: extrusion

3P uses the extrusion technique, a continuous system for producing PVC profiles.

The principle of operation involves feeding material at the rear end of a screw that rotates within a barrel that is heated to a specific temperature, and fulfils the dual function of mixing the material and forcing it through the die (located at the front of the screw) that gives the plastic the desired shape.

Recycling:

3P is a socially responsible company that is respectful of its environment. PVC contains a certain number of natural constituents and is thus suitable for recycling.

3P recycles all extrusion process residues and wishes to sign up all the actors of the PVC sector in New Caledonia to its recycling programme.

Logistics:

3P strives to offer its customers a fast, high quality service through the optimum follow-up of production and orders in permanent liaison with stock management.

Investment:

The extension and modernisation of its manufacturing process (extrusion line, new dies, etc.) constitutes an essential focus of investment for 3P.

Quality Control:

Inspections are performed every two hours by experienced personnel fully trained in the extrusion process.

The quality policy put in place is extremely rigorous.

All the properties of the extrudedprofiles (material, geometry, appearance, weight, etc.) are thoroughly checked according to the standards set by the various national institutes.

Safety and prevention:

The security and safety of its personnel havealways been at the centre of 3P's concerns. Since it's opening, it has adopted a safety policy that is by necessity strict but essential in order to obtain excellent results.

The main aims of 3P are to offer new products to meet the needs of its customers, to extend its market to the Pacific region, to increase its expertise in order to even further improve the quality of its finalproducts.
